Overview:
Ardeta Search have been exclusively retained to identify a Management Accountant for an exciting hyper growth organisation in Sheffield who are expanding their finance team with this new position. This role will be crucial in the day-to-day reporting with a large focus around month end.
Working on a hybrid basis between the office & home you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in a finance team where internal progression and career development are key pillars of their organisational culture.
Ideally you will have a strong knowledge of Excel, you will be extremely organised, self-motivated and be quick to develop a sound knowledge of the wider business and key drivers behind financial performance.
Working as part of a vibrant, close-knit team, you'll take ownership of the core month end reporting and play a key role in producing budgets and be exposed to ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities of the role include:
· Focus on annual revenue and/or capital budgets
· Assist in the preparation of company accounts.
· Month-end Journals / Reconciliations
· Preparation of management information
· Budget monitoring
· Preparation of capital budgets
· Deliver comprehensive financial accounting
· Statutory declarations / VAT returns
· Cashflow management
· Provide financial analysis
What you'll need to succeed :
· Solid all round accounts experience.
· Part Qualified ACA/CIMA OR ACCA (actively studying) or recently qualified within the last 2/3 years
· Strong/advanced Ms Excel skills are a must - VLOOKUP, Pivot table and if statements minimum.
· Ability to deliver both independently and as part of the team with minimum supervision.
· Good IT skills - ability to pick up new systems quickly and efficiently.
· Able to manage heavy workload & strict deadlines.
· Attention to detail.
· An individual keen to develop their skill set and progress in their career
