Ardeta Search is currently partnering with a large distribution business with offices based in Sheffield to recruit a Head of Finance.

Due to their continued growth they are now looking to recruit a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that is looking for their first Head of Finance position or looking for a larger remit. 
 

This commercial position is a key role in finance but also across the wider business and will often submit reports to the board and be a key part of the senior management team. As the Head of Finance you will be responsible for end-to-end Finance Operations, financial planning and analysis, Balance sheet reconciliations and also continuously looking to improve areas in the finance department where needed. 

Your Duties Include: 

• Overall management of the General Ledger. 
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and regular cashflow forecasts. 
• Prepare and maintain daily cash flow (including FX purchases)
• Manage the day to day finance function 
• Line manage the finance assistant and allocate work. 
• Prepare annual accounts 
• Analyse data and submit reports to senior management team. 

Job Requirements: 

• Strong Management Accounts experience
• Experience of managing at least two people. 
• Strong Excel 
• Sage 50 is highly desirable.
