Ardeta Search is partnering with a well known national organisation to recruit a Payroll Manager on a Permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity reporting into the Head of HR Operations, you will be managing a small team and running a weekly and monthly payroll of 8000. The role will require you to work on a hybrid basis.
Your duties include:
- Managing the payroll team and ensuring all payroll activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Developing and maintaining payroll policies and procedures
- Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate and timely input of data into the payroll system
- Providing guidance and support to staff on payroll-related matters
- Ensuring timely and accurate submission of payroll data to external agencies
- Leading on projects to improve payroll systems and processes
- Providing advice to senior management on payroll-related matters
- Managing and developing members of the payroll team, including carrying out regular performance reviews, setting objectives and managing absence and recruitment
- Collaborating with HR and other teams to ensure effective communication and consistency in HR policies and practices
- Developing and implementing payroll-related training and development programs for staff
- Ensuring that the payroll team operates efficiently and effectively, and that work is completed to a high standard
Skills:
- Ideally you will be CIPP qualified.
- Strong management skills
- being able to run a weekly and monthly payroll.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well known organisation. The salary is paying between £70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits.
