Ardeta Search delighted to be partnering with a rapid rapidly growing, acquisitive, and entrepreneurial business with a turnover over £150 million, headquartered in South Yorkshire. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced In-House Commercial Property Solicitor to join our clients organisation. This role is a 6-12 month FTC with the view of potentially going permanent. Our client is looking for someone who can start immediately or on short notice.
Role Overview:
- Mid to senior-level Commercial Property Solicitor role, closely working with the Directors & Board.
- Diverse work scope, including Commercial Property matters: new lettings, landlord & tenant, asset management, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Acting as a legal business partner to stakeholders and engaging in other property and general commercial matters.
- Key role offering a pivotal part in the legal function and the wider business.
- Looking to restructure current portfolio of over 100-200 properties within the group
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting title due diligence and handling various property transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating licenses and agreements for lease, sale, and transfer.
- Providing support on wider commercial and corporate matters as needed.
- Managing external counsel and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Adapting to changing business needs and offering expert legal advice.
Background:
- Experience in carrying out title due diligence, drafting and negotiating licenses and agreements for lease, agreements for sale, and transfer.
- Previous in-house experience (e.g., client secondment) is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to handle a wide variety of property work and provide support on broader commercial and corporate matters when needed.
- Strong communication skills to work closely with key stakeholders and build relationships.
- Experience in Commercial Property is required, 5 years PQE
