Overview:

Ardeta Search are delighted to be retained on an exclusive basis for a Global Head of Order to Cash position based in Yorkshire for a market leading organisation spanning across global markets with offices over a number of continents.

Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in partnering with finance and operational leaders to drive results in alignment with global financial targets, with a particular focus on cash and DSO.

 

Scope of the role:

  • Drive standardisation and consistency in billing, collections, cash application, reporting, and client interactions, using your client-focused mindset and strong analytical and organisational skills to deliver outstanding outcomes.
  • You'll lead the end-to-end order-to-cash process globally, providing strategic direction and operational leadership for all O2C initiatives. You'll define and execute standard processes across all locations, staying up to date with industry best practices and implementing those that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You'll manage key metrics to ensure compliance with service level agreements, KPIs, and benchmarks against industry leaders, analysing collection processes and establishing best practices for all receivable types.
  • You'll interact with financial leaders regarding matters related to working capital, participate as a member of the leadership team, and work with the team to establish strategies and objectives for the organization.
  • You'll provide overall leadership for planning, staffing, goal setting, budgeting, supporting system initiatives, and implementing new processes and policies, cultivating an environment that encourages maximum productivity, professional development, open communication, and teamwork.


What we are looking for:

  • To excel in this role, you'll ideally be degree-educated or equivalent in a related discipline, although experience is more important. You'll be a subject matter expert on the end-to-end credit and collection process, with significant work experience within a similar position.
  • You'll have the ability to actively engage stakeholders, clients, and staff to ensure processes are executed consistently, motivate and influence others, and manage a diverse, predominantly non-exempt workforce.
  • You'll be able to manage multiple priorities and thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations, with strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience with various ERP systems, as well as dealing with a third-party outsource provider, will be advantageous.

 

Package on Offer:

  • Guide salary with range between £90-£120k plus benefits. Salary DOE
  • Candidates outside of this bracket may well be considered depending on experience
