Ardeta Search are pleased to be retained on an exclusive basis for a newly created Head of FP&A position for a leading data driven and technology focussed organisation spanning across 50 global markets with offices across 4 continents.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Head of FP&A to join their expanding global finance team based in Yorkshire.
The Role:
As the Head of FP&A, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to set the overall FP&A strategy and be responsible for all key forward-looking financial activities and financial analytical work within the business.
This will involve driving all aspects of financial modelling, strategic financial planning and budget cycles, KPI design and monitoring, developing clear dashboards and business intelligence reporting, and cashflow forecasting.
You will be a true business partner to multiple global teams, helping them understand the context behind the numbers, embedding consistent and effective reporting and processes, and providing crucial decision support. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting findings to the Executive board, C Suite and investors on financial investment strategy and strategic projects including Mergers and Acquisitions.
This role requires expert communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and interpret financial information to provide insight, alongside being able to interact and engage confidently with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and time zones.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you should have experience working in a similar role and hold an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
Experience working within digital technology, digital services, web/computer based technology, telecommunications and tech industries would be advantageous.
You should be a self-starter who is comfortable with significant change and working in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones.
Advanced Excel skills are required, and experience working with BI tools such as Power BI is highly preferred.
