This role offers the opportunity to oversee all financial aspects of a company and drive its financial strategy and planning. As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for assessing the financial performance, risks, and investments of the company, while also serving as a Board Member in the capacity of Director and Company Secretary.

Responsibilities:

• Assume overall responsibility for the Finance function, supporting the broader business activities
• Provide support to the Commercial team in pricing, budgeting, and forecasting
• Collaborate with the supply chain on cost-saving initiatives and pricing strategies
• Assist in evaluating productivity efficiencies and capital expenditure investment decisions
• Conduct cash flow forecasting to maintain awareness of the company's financial position and prevent issues
• Oversee all audit and internal control operations
• Liaise with the bank and other financial services providers
• Work alongside other directors to develop the business strategy and manage risks effectively

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar leadership role
• Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
• Strong expertise in financial analysis and forecasting
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

The successful candidate must be available to start within 2-4 weeks and possess the capability to deliver the financial strategy while effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the finance function.
