Overview:

Our client is a well-established and successful business in Sheffield with a turnover circa £15m who have built up an extremely strong reputation within their market over the past 40 years.

Due to their ongoing growth and expansion plans, they are now looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their team expanding team in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Finance to drive business profitability and growth. This role will act as the go-between for finance and key departments in the business such as sales, making it an excellent opportunity for someone to become a true business partner and manage multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse sales data to identify trends and provide insights to the sales team to improve performance
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for the sales team to monitor performance against targets
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales data
• Assist with the production of monthly management & balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of sales reporting
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and profitability
• Communicate financial and performance information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the sales team as required
• Gathering and analysing financial information to drive business profitability and growth.
• Contributing to the annual budgeting and planning process as required.
• Assisting the management accountant in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and forecasting.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified/Qualified or Qualified by experience
• Experience in a finance/business analysis role
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large data sets
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
