Overview:

Ardeta Search is delighted to be supporting our central Sheffield based client who are actively searching for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

This is a great opportunity for an aspiring Assistant Management Accountant, as you will be working closely with the Head of Finance and have clear progression plans within the organisation for further scope and development. You will help provide quality management information by assisting with the production of management accounts from journal stage to monthly packs and detailed forecasting and budgeting.

Our client are based in central Sheffield with great transport links and in an open bright office space with the flexibility of home working up to 2/3 days a week.

The role:

• Supporting in month-end tasks
• Budgeting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Various reconciliations
• VAT
• P&L reporting
• Supporting and providing cover within purchase and sales ledger
• Ad hoc duties

Background:

• Experience working in a similar position
• Confident system and excel user
• Able to communicate with internal and external parties
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• AAT Qualified/Relevant Degree and actively studying ACCA/CIMA
